History of Samode Palace Rajasthan:
The town of Samode previously belonged to the zamindars or landlords. The palace was initially built in 16th century, which was a Rajput fort previously. In early 19th century, the fort was converted into a palace by Rawal Berisal. He was a nobleman, under whose surveillance it was reconverted in to a palace. This palace was built in a typical Muslim and Rajasthani architectural style.

The Samode Bagh and the Samode Haveli was built much later. These were later added to the main building.

Famous Structures of Samode Palace:
The ancient palace has three other ancient structures. They are the Samode fort, Samode Bagh and Samode Haveli.

Samode Fort:
The fort is the famous tourist attraction, which is situated above a hill. It is located near the palace which was the royal residence. The fort was primarily used during an emergency and had many passages and under paths. In ancient time, one had to lead a complex way in order to reach the fort. The aerial view of the surrounding area is very beautiful from above the fort. Even though the fort is in a dilapidated state, it is visited by tourists round the year.
